Bio:

Evangelia Danadaki is an artist, researcher and educator, who works at the intersection of visual art, psychoanalysis and philosophy. Her practice is transdisciplinary and collaborative drawing on feminist theory to critically engage with politics of identity and foster the emergence of new aesthetic dialogues. Through the design of community-based actions, she engages art as social practice and pedagogy serving as mentor to young artists and students. She studied Contemporary Art Practice and Philosophy at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, and Political Theory at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her paper “Performance as political action: The creation of public sphere and the recreation of the self” was published by Nisos (2023) in the collective volume Performing Space (eds. Pirovolakis, E., Mikedaki, M. and Berzal Cruz, P.). Her essay ‘‘The politics of art in Cornelius Castoriadis: creating new common worlds’’ will soon be published in the academic Journal ArchiDoct “Aesthetics and Politics vol. 20” (eds.
