This video is about the GCAS PhD Programme 1st Year Seminars

Beginning in the fall term, 2019 GCAS College will commence with our required PhD 1st year seminars. These seminars are designed to provide our PhD researchers with five (5) advanced seminars that cover a range of topics from social epistemology, to research and methodologies strategies, and from philosophical and economic resources, to performative artistic techniques that relate to basic topics in psychology and psychoanalysis.

These are required courses for all incoming PhD researchers, however, in some instances researchers can either (a) opt out; or (b) take another related course more closely related to their research topic. In either case (a) or (b) the researcher will have to gain permission from their supervisor.
