Guilherme Foscolo, PhD

Research Fellow

Guilherme Foscolo is Assistant Professor of Humanities at Universidade Federal do Sul da Bahia (UFSB)/Brazil. He coordinates the research group Grupo de Pesquisas Avançadas em Materialidades, Ambiências e Tecnologias (GPA-MAT CNPq/UFSB), and is a member of Red Latinoamericana de Investigaciones en Prácticas y Medios de la Imagen (https://www.imagenlat.org) and of GT de Estética/Anpof. He has articles and book chapters published in the areas of Philosophy of Art, Modern and Contemporary Aesthetics, Art Theory and Criticism, Philosophy of Media and Technology, Materialities of Communication, Philosophy of History and Political Philosophy. He is also a host to the podcast/videocast Logotonia, available in many platforms (iTunes, Play FM, Podcast Addict, Twitter, Youtube, Soundcloud, Facebook).
